Jon Micah Sumrall is a veteran rocker and lead singer of the band Kutless, a pioneering presence on stages around the world for more than two decades selling over 3 million albums, two RIAA certified Gold Records, and twelve Number 1 radio singles. Jon Micah now steps back onto the stage to connect with fans and pioneer new solo material that is bold, heartfelt, and fresh. With a nostalgic nod to the past and a seasoned eye on the horizon, Jon Micah is exploring the next chapter in a world that is hungry for authentic faith and hope.
Not only is Jon Micah a musician, he is also is a passionate speaker on mental health! After dealing with burn out, mental health struggles, and wounds from years of vocational ministry, Jon Micah stepped away from music for several years. He now hopes to to share his story through vulnerability and encourage those who are still in the midst of their own challenges, letting them know that they are not alone.
Jon Micah is also the co-host of the podcast Rock in a Hard Place where many of the Kutless stories and past challenges are shared at length. With a nod to the past and an eye on the horizon, Jon Micah is stepping back onto the stage to connect with fans and speak honestly about personal struggles, mental health, and finding a way forward through faith and doubt.
